6. AI Chatbot (ComfyVault Assistant)

Our website provides an AI-powered chatbot (“ComfyVault Assistant”) that helps answer questions about ComfyUI, workflows, AI models, and related topics.

How It Works

When you use the chatbot, your messages are sent to our server and forwarded to the AI service provider Groq Inc. (Privacy Policy) for processing. The chatbot also retrieves relevant content from our own knowledge base to provide accurate answers.

Optional Web Search

For questions about current topics, the chatbot may perform a web search via Serper (Google Search API). In that case, your query (not personal data) is sent to the search provider. This only happens when your question indicates a need for up-to-date information.

Data Retention

We do not store your chat conversations on our servers. Messages exist only for the duration of your browser session. Groq processes data according to their privacy policy and may temporarily store data for abuse prevention.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing helpful user support). Usage of the chatbot is entirely voluntary.
